Fam Camp

Come and experience a great Florida vacation at Tyndall AFB's FamCamp, the services-run camping facility for active duty and retired military, their families, and guests.

RV Site

Rent an RV site by the day or by the month. We have 66 sites with full service hook ups and 34 sites with partial service. Partial sites include the water, cable, electric 20/30. Full is with sewer, plus 50 amp electric. Self-contained RVs may use the on-site dump facility.

Have a Great Time

Swap stories and roast marshmallows around the bonfire at the gazebo. On most cool evenings, the staff lights a fire in the fire pit. Come gather round and make some new friends!

Cabins Too

For a real home-away-from-home experience, rent one of the three FamCamp cabins. Each cottage can accommodate six people in two bedrooms (full-size beds) and a living room (queen-size sleeper sofa). Enjoy a fully furnished kitchen, full bath, carpet, and color television. The units have heat and air-conditioning. Renters must supply their own towels and linens. Please note that while pets and smoking are permitted in the FamCamp, neither is allowed in any of the cabins.

Beautiful Scenery

Unwind in the beautiful outdoors! Gather together some other guests for croquet or horseshoes. Or stroll along the FamCamp's interpretive nature trail. This easy walk (approximately 1 mile around the perimeter of the FamCamp) offers information on many local birds, animals, trees, and plants.

Recreation Lodge

Built by retirees, the Recreation Lodge is for the exclusive use of registered campers and their guests. Amenities include showers, laundry facilities, wireless internet and a large screen TV. The lodge is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer.

Keep Warm

Cozy up to the fireplace and watch the large-screen cable TV or relax with other campers over games of pool, cards and bingo during the winter season. The lodge also has books, puzzles, and board games.
