With great jubilee, a change that we have been talking about for months now has taken place and two great support squadrons have become one. On Nov. 3, The 325th Services Squadron and the 325th Mission Support Squadron merged. It is kind of like a marriage of two great customer service squadrons to give you one great organized customer service squadron – The 325th Force Support Squadron!
All over the Air Force this merger has been happening to “realize synergies, efficiencies and unity of command.”
And now it has happened here.
Our mission is the same as one as it was as two – to provide Tyndall with the greatest customer service that we can.
So you can look forward to the great re-facing that we are going to have to do with our logo change. You might see 325th Services, or 325th MSS around for a limited time, but you will soon see 325th FSS everywhere – so keep an eye out.

Every Sunday the Raptor Lanes Bowling Center turns into Bowlopolis- an imaginary place where fun, adventure, and play help develop lifelong skills. From 1- 8 p.m. your family can enjoy the “Bowlopolis Family Fun” package which includes 2 games of bowling with shoes for 4 people, and 1 large pizza with 4 sodas for only $29.95. Bring the whole family out for a night of fun during the Fall Carnival 5 - 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Heritage Club. There will be free hamburgers and hotdogs for club members. Since we are still in the Club Drive, you can sign up for the Club and win money, and get free admission to the Carnival. You will also get free dues with your club membership for at least 6 months. If you are an e-1 - e-4 or o-1 you get free dues for a whole year. Games, prizes, bounce houses and more will be happening at the Carnival, so bring the whole family! No worries, it is actually the right way to do things. Typically in Germany, Oktoberfest starts in late September, so we hit the nail on the head with the date this year being Sept. 19th! Festivities start at 4 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m.
This year’s improved festival will also get a bunch more things right with:
Live Music! Element 55, a well-known local original and cover band will entertain during the fest. Check out their music here.
The German American Club will bring authentic cuisine to the fest, ensuring you get a taste of what Oktoberfest has to offer. Traditional refreshing Oktoberfest beverages will also be available!

The Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will also be held this year. There is no entry fee, and there will be no judging - so come register at 3 p.m. and show off your car during this show and shine!
